If you accept or not ALLAH is only one and Islam is the only way of life in all aspect of life, ISLAM for the people of the people by the people. Now theoretically every one accepts the Islam as best in practise. But very rare personalities who worked for Islam in sense to establish by the will of almighty Allah and his last messenger Mohammad PBUH. Syed Abu Ala Moududi RW contributed his whole life to establish the Islam in view of Quran and Sunnah. He left for us the sense of Islam in true and practical way. My humble request, we Muslims sit together with open minds and try to understand his unique teaching and take the help of his reading stuff in favour of ISLAM. I have also gone through the Urdu translation and the Tafseer, ‘Tafheemul Qur’an’ written by Maulana Sayyed Abu-Laala Maududi (may Allah mercy be upon him) – and I say with high accountability that I have always found it excellent in all regards.     AS salamualaikum, Maududi saheb did commented on the sahaba(ra) and the ambiyaa (As). I don't know why he said in tafheemul quran Unless he was a great writer. He should apologize for what ever comment he made but still Allah taala knows best. According to me the only difference with ulema-deoband came for his comments in the tafheemul quran, and regarding some masael's like namaz-e-juma, and the length of beard(one fist). Still we can't say completely whatever ijtehaad he did was 100% correct or not. But we also cant say if he was wrong. May Allah forgive him for whatever mistakes he did in commenting the ambiya(alaihi salam) and the shariat.

I had read his 2 JILDS .Syed maudidi was great man WALLAH .No one can reach to his place in writes.I had read hi all biography in several books.and also study other biographies of great scholars BUT.....REALLY i found a very big difference in them .No one can reach his place.HE has killed his NAFS.i cannot write english well and for this reason i cannot complete my feelings about him COZ i am urdu speaking.Atlast i pray to GOD "O ALLAH GIVE HIM PLACE IN {JANNATUL FIRDOS).AMEEEEEEEN

  • Syed Maududi:Let Us Be Muslims

    I read a book written by Sayyid Mawdudi titled "Let Us Be Muslims". This book is so inspiraional that I decided to find any mean to know more about this great man. I was also brieved about him by a brother in Islam that he was from India but I did not believe this. This was why I decided to know more about this great man. Most of all, I saw a magazine written in it: "Have you ever read about the great man "Abu A'la Mawdudi" This was the reason why I have been searching for a way to know more about this man. I pray that Almighty Allah grant him Al-Jannah(Amen). I now use this medium to seek your enquiry to please send the biography of this great man to my e-mail address so that whenever I have the money, I will come to print it out. I am just a young Muslim of 20 and I want to know more about my religion. Though, I am not given a full chance by parents because they are not the type of true Muslims described by the great man in his book mentioned above. So, I need your advice on how should I go about it. I thank you and I say may Allah continue to reward you and continue to guide you aright. (Amen)
